Another point to add to my endless list of why I love being a photographer – I get to be one of the first to meet new family members! This awesome little dude is my husband’s cousin’s baby and my husband was so jealous when I headed out to do this session when baby Ben was just ten days old. As a gift I’ll be doing his first year of photos so you’ll be seeing lots of baby Ben on the blog. I don’t think anyone will mind, right? Such a cutie, with the most rad little hairdo…
This sweet little guy is my cousin-in-law’s (is that a word?!) son and it was such fun to capture sweet little Gabriel’s first portraits!

Babies, babies everywhere – I had three newborn sessions in one week! It’s such a privilege and a joy to capture a newborn, I was in heaven.
This little cutie is Brendon. He wasn’t too thrilled with having his portraits done at first, but we eventually wore him down 
. Newborn photography is all about patience. And our patience paid off beautifully.

Meet Everly, a sweet baby girl with a name as beautiful as she is. I captured these images when she was just 11 days old.

Sweet little baby dreams.
While the session was focused on Everly, I didn’t want big sister Helena to feel left out so I snapped a few of her. I told her we needed to get a few of her so she could show her little sister how to do it. At first she wasn’t too sure what to think…
Then she got all into it and hammed it up – too cute! These two sisters are bound to break some hearts, don’t ya think?

It is such an honor to capture newborn portraits. It is so cool to be the one who gets to create the iconic images of a new little life. My images will be the ones that will introduce Lachlan on his birth announcements and my images will be the representation of this amazing time in this family’s life. These are the photos that they will look back on many years to come and remember when he was just a little guy. It is an absolute honor and I am so in love with my career. IT IS THE BEST EVER!!
