I’m a photographer who hates to be in front of the camera. Believe me, I get it. Having your picture taken can be incredibly awkward and uncomfortable for many, especially when you are told to look at the camera and “smile!”. So I don’t go overboard with the posed shots. Posed and stiff and perfect is not what I find interesting. Real is beautiful, real smiles and real emotions. And for most of us that doesn’t happen naturally in front of the camera. It happens when loved ones interact, when you are yourself, when you are having fun…
I want to capture more than just how you look. I want to capture how you feel, who you are today. I want to tell a story with my images, creating a little time capsule that can take you back to your wedding day or when your first child was a newborn.
